UNS N07718 is a nickel-chromium alloy with precipitation hardenable properties and high creep rupture strength at temperatures up to 1300 degree F (700 degree ). The poor age hardening response of Alloy 718 allows annealing and welding without spontaneous hardening during heating and cooling. The alloy has excellent weldability compared to nickel-based superalloys hardened by aluminum and titanium.
